It does not make the phone much larger and is a better design than the mophie for 4S. You can also still use the apple headphones without using the included extension which is a plus as I don't want to lose another piece functional hardware.
My only complaint is that if this is an Apple approved device why didn't they put the lightning charging port on it. I really don't want to carry an additional charger.
I would recommend and would buy again.

Extremely light. Lighter than the 4s version. A little long but it wasnt an issue. Got used to it right away. Overall, it keeps battery level high, keeps my iphone charged and juiced up, protects it with a smooth touch case, and its a great way to stay in shape!!!

I always purchased a case for each of my iPhones for when riding my Harley. For my iPhone 5 I decided to keep it in a case and decided to get the Mophie. So far I like it. Initially I was worried it was going to be too big and too long. Because at work I wear a uniform with shirt pockets with a flap. It fits perfectly. The Mophie and the iPhone charges fine when connected to power and it is a bit slow to recharge the iPhone when you turn the Mophie on. The case feels soft and sleek in your hand and the length took some time (a day or two) to get used to but I really like it. I believe I will keep the iPhone 5 covered in the Mophie Juice Helium for the life of the phone or the case.

    +Looks good
    +Feels good
    +Not too heavy
    +It works

    cons:
—The case adds bulk to the bottom of the phone, which is fine, but means use of the included "pass-through" adapter is necessary for most headphones and definitely for the Square credit card reader dongle. This feels awkward and is just one more "thing" to own and keep track of
—Both because of the bulk at the bottom of the case and because of the "micro" port of the case, the included "micro USB cable" is necessary for charging. This means any lighting-to-USB cords, charging stands, or audio systems that are compatible with iPhone 5 are no longer unusable
—I find it very difficult, nigh impossible, to separate the case to expose the bottom of the iPhone, in order to access the phone's lighting port for said accessories. The snug fit is important to ensure the connection between the case's battery pack and the phone, but in this instance it's too much of a good thing.
—Once I finally do separate the case into its two parts, it's then very difficult to get the phone out of the case. Mophie expects users to keep their phones in the cases at all times, but it's short sighted given the limitations.

In short: Not a very thoughtful design, Mophie. I'm disappointed but haven't come across a better solution to extend battery life.

I'd like to think that Apple could do better with the native iPhone battery so users wouldn't need to seek out third-party solutions, which end up being less than perfect.

The other perfect 5 I would give is on behalf of the money I'll save getting my screen replaced. I was always dropping my phone and smashing it (the worst aspect of iPhones for sure) and this case is the perfect mix of sturdy and streamline. I had avoided sturdy cases until now because they don't fit comfortably in my pockets. Mophie solved the problem. Thanks for a truly excellent product.
