You can even daisy chain them if you use a FireWire cable.

Can't fault it in any way.
Even the build quality is great.
    I highly recommend it.

I barely got my files off before it gasped for its last breath. I contacted G-tech and they never returned my email with questions about slowing. Then when it died G-Tech would not warranty the drive because it was 1 week out of warranty. I'm a professional user, would never buy this product again. They have lame duck service too. The only thing less reliable is Lacie.

It's been around the world, put through some pretty rough conditions, and is still kicking. I've bought newer 4TB drives from WD and iOmega, planning to retire the G-RAID to a backup only, but the newer ones died, and I've returned to the G-RAID as my primary twice now.

I'm surprised to see other reviews rate this drive so low. Maybe the one I have happens to be a diamond in the rough, but from my experience, this product is a tank. I agree with the other review that it's noisey when it runs, but I use it in loud work environments, so that's never been an issue for me.

With today's technology, I see no reason why a drive approaching $400 needs to be so noisy. It sounds like it's constantly grinding away at something...I just hope it's not something bad or destructive.
