It is easy to set up and uses my wireless internet at home to upload the data to my account where I also keep my activities, food intake and sleep patterns (using the fitbit tracker to record activities and sleep). Everything concerning my health and wellbeing is located on the same place easily accessed on my computer, iPad and iPhone. I love it!

  • Awful.

This device, however, sucked up 3 hours of my time that I will never get back. Even when I managed to get it to connect to my wifi and computer (which I didn't find hard, but it was way easier to do this with my iPhone) I continued to get an "err" message on the scale any time I tried to get my weight.

FitBit will charge you to return the scale-- both return shipping, and a return repackaging fee. Absolutely awful, please pay attention to all the people who make the same comment and don't buy this scale.

If a device can't even be set up then it's rubbish. Was thinking about other fitbit gear but will stay well away from this expensive fitbit junk now.

Like many many others, I couldn't get the Aria to connect to my wifi network. And certainly it was not from lack of trying (3 hours!) or expertise (I work IT support as my job). And if I, as an experienced IT support technician can't get the Aria to work, how can a non-tech person be expected to?

Sure I get that many people have been lucky and got it working without issue, but the sheer number of people who have been unsuccessful indicates that the product is half-baked. So if you buy the Aria, you are gambling that you won't have any troubles. I have a Fitbit Ultra and love that product, but I've now sworn off Fitbit products after my Aria experience.
