The Solo is slick
I was reluctant to purchase this at first due to my own doubts of holding my phone with my wallet, but boy was I wrong. This is ab solutely the coolest wallet/case I have ever owned, and now I cant picture myself living without it! No more back pocket bulge and digging through slots of uselessness. Looks good at first
Got this about 6 months ago the rubber around the front of the case peeled off and then the leather was no longer sticking to the plastic had to replace it looks nice and a great idea but the materials used are cheap and don't last Unfortunately it is the only case/card holder that the apple stores sells would recommend looking online at other sites for a better one not worth the 40 bucks …

This place is amazing...
I can't believe some of the reviews on this product. I've been using a Solo since I first bought my iPhone 4S. I gave it to my wif e and she was delighted to have something this convenient that has lasted as long as it has.
Look, let me share a hidden secret about leather: Leather creases, scratches, fades, ages and eventually degrades. It's a fact of life. When it's a bag, they call it character; when it's a case, it's a travesty to these reviewers.
Well, sorry folks. I don't agree. a well worn case is like an old doctor's bag: No less sleek, and oozing with character and story.
As for Solo's functionality, I realized that leather STRETCHES, so I jammed 4 cards into it, then 5 cards, and kept it in my front jeans pocket until they stretched enough for them to work. Eventually it did, and I now have an adequate wallet replacement (license, memberships, bank/credit cards) for simple things.
I have a charger with a holder in my car, so on long trips, I pop it out of the case and drop it back in with ease. I live in the cold, so everything is done with gloves for 8 months of the year.
Don't fall for the nonsense reviews here. A little common sense and some life-hack simplicity, and this case will last as long as your phone.

Convenient
I like this case it works. I only use it when I don't want to carry my wallet, so I don't use it 24/7 because I don't think it is the best case to protect my phone. The one corner looks weird and sort of deformed, and it came like that. Like I said I only use this when I don't want to carry my wallet or go out and only use a small purse.. I tried the speck case that holds cards and I returned it because it was too bulky and hard to get off the phone, and this was the next best card holding phone case that I have kept. …

I just got mine today and love it. It has 2 card slots and somewhat soft/stretchable leather, so I t hink you could likely get 3 credit cards in there, but probably not more as it's pretty tight (which is good so your cards don't fall out). I'm carrying my license, 1 credit card, and a $20 bill. …

There is a slight lip (tiny!) that will keep the screen of your phone from touching any flat surface on which you set it face down, and will also (probably) keep the glass from hitting any surface from a small drop. However, there is no protection from items in a bag that might scratch the glass on your phone, and little protection from a drop of a few feet. …

sorry, I don't know why I asnswered it with that.
But... the quick answer is... At first, it's quite snug. Just give it a bit of a push at the back where the camera is exposed, and that should give it a bit of a boost for the phone to come out. Over time, it will somewhat loosen up to comfort to the iphone as to be not too snug of a fit but just to be a perfect fit. Other people who have handled it for me didn't have any difficulty getting the phone out.
