Another fantastic B&W Product

The C5's sound spectrum is complete across all levels; the accurate, punchy bass, smooth mids, and the open treble work together to provide for a wonderful listening experience. The passive audio-isolation manages to mask nearly all of the ambient noise around you. The fit of the buds might take a little getting used to with the cord that keeps the buds in the ear, but the adjustment curve is short and worth it; the C5's stay put better than any other bud that I've used. …

I listen to all types of music ranging from classical Wolfgang, to Ne-Yo, to B.I.G., as well as foreign artists. I need Headphones that are not orientated towards one genre or another. Being that these headphones are so well balanced, i am able to hear the frictional tug of each string with the bow of the violin. Feel the bass rumbling through my entire body as i play sweat.
These are by far also the most comfortable headphones i have in my arsenal. (Even better than the Klipsch patented oval shaped ones, and those are wonderful) I have worn these to sleep like they were regular form-fitting earplugs.
I also run everywhere i go. I have a very active life style so i need headphones that wont fall out every time i decide to run across the street to catch a light or a bus. With the secure loop, i am able to do just that. And may i add, it is also very comfortable.
(May i add you can headbang with these?!) …

The secure loop is a very welcome innovation for keeping them actually *in* your ear. Sound quality is wonderful throughout the full range from low to highs. They do take a few hours listening to really start to sing, but that's normal for audio products. …

Best (in ear) headphone!

First, i bought Dr. Dre Tour, because i love the color, design, style. However, no matter what i tried i couldnt fit it into my ear and any movement(walking, running) it fell off. Even though the bass was good, i couldnt fit into my ear, even with all different ear. Then i tried rha ma750i, design was sexy, yet less bass compare to dr.dre. Then lastly tried, c5. Best sound, best bass, best fit. Buy it!! I recommend you to try the 14 day guarantee and try c5!! Boss! Cons: wire might be too thin. Feel like it might get broken if caught by something so careful! Noise isolation best!! …

I can't even plug thes The sound is great but the cord is difficult to unravel and it stays curled and doesn't sit flat on a desk. I can't even plug these into the PC at work (under the desk) because they're too short! You would think for the money they would give you some more length. The volume control is fiddly to use. Would I buy them again if I lost them? No. Would I buy my old Klipsch again? Yes. …

Terrible built quality - just don't buy

The first pair came defected and made terrible noise. It was replaced by B&W. The new pair, In less than a year the left ear stopped working completely. B&W replaced it again. This pair lasted almost a year as well, when both sides started being choppy. This time B&W refused to replace it, claiming only the original warranty stands (though evidently it wasn't their policy a year ago). I never used it for the gym. Never put it in my pocket. Never rolled it. It still looks new, the cable looks springy.
So you can say B&W have decent customer service, or terrible product, or both. Unless you want your pair for only one year, don't touch this. …

If you dont, they will sound tinny, shallow and no bass. When you get a good seal, they sound amazing. You can 'hear' where ech instrument is located in the room. The cable is a bit stiff and would be nicer if more flexible, but these are the best sounding earbuds I've had (and I've tried many). Use the apple 14 day return policy and try them out. …
