Velcro
This product is new, considering that the release of the 4th Generation just took place this year. So far I can say that the produ ct is good overall. But there is just one defect that I immediately noticed from the very first time I used the product--the velcro is DEFECTIVE and it is common to all units.
The velcro barely lives up to its purpose. It is supposed to hold the iPod securely fastened to keep it from falling off; however, the fastening of the velcro is too weak.
Notwithstanding this outstanding defect, I believe the iPod won't fall off while doing rigorous activities because of the general tightness of the iPod cover... as of now. In time, I think the cover will loosen up and that might cause the iPod to fall off!
I can not totally recommend this product. Let's see what happens with the velcro and the whole iPod cover in the next month or so. …- Written by Jose Luis G from Quezon

Velcro needs improvement
This is an ideal product but the material is a little cheap. It has a dual purpose you secure it on your arm or you can remove th e pouch and clip the iPod to your belt. That is great! Also the secondary piece, which secures the earplug cord from swinging, is nice too. I gave it three stars because the strap in the back of the pouch, which secures the iPod, is unreliable; the strap is short and it doesn't secure to the velcro well.
In fact, the day I had purchased it and wore it on my belt then suddenly my iPod came out of the pouch and dropped on the ground, scarred the, beep, out of me! Fortunately my iPod wasn't scratched nor damaged. If the company was to get better material, redesign and lengthen the strap it would be a five star product.

Cover does not fit well
The armband is very good. But cover (pocket) doesn't fix iPod properly.

Velcro wears out in a couple of months
This case was nice for the first couple of months then the Velcro stopped working and the Ipod falls out and breaks don't waste yo ur money. It is not even listed on the manufacturers site to inquire about it. …

Quite nice
I've had my Belkin Armband for over 9 months and it's still going strong. The velcro at times does not close well, but i've never had the iPod fall from the Armband, even while running. I do usually keep a tight fitting Sonix snap on case over the iPod and work it into the Armband, fits very snugly and it's tight to pull out, which is probably what's kept it from falling loose during my runs when the velcro opens. Other than that, I've quite enjoyed owning it.
A recommendation for Belkin - place the velcro strap on the top of the Armband, as it eventually wears and doesn't hold as well, the device will be unable to fall and possibly break. …- Written by Joshua R from Powhatan
