None of the Epson software shipped with the printer (like Epson Connect) works on either a Mac or a PC but it doesn't matter as you don't need the fancy stuff. The printer does everything it should do so, considering the cost, it is great value.

This printer is excellent value for money. We have been wanting to buy an air printer for the IPhone and IPads for a while now, to This printer is excellent value for money. We have been wanting to buy an air printer for the IPhone and IPads for a while now, to save the hassle of collecting email on the PC and printing the old fashioned way. Of course you can still print from the PC if you want to. This printer does everything in one. Faxes, prints wirelessly, copies and scans. We are yet to print photo's but it does that too. It was fairly easy to set up. The instruction manual is not all that good, but ok. I found it easier to just familiarise myself with the on-screen menus and set things up that way. I ran the start up CD on the PC first, then followed the instructions on the printer's touch screen. You need to pair it with your modem which is step by step on-screen for wireless printing. Don't forget to connect your devices to the wireless network to search for the printer when you want to print from your IPad. It's super quiet (ideal for receiving faxes at odd hours at night). It's also stylish and fast. With this printer and an IPad, there's not a lot you can't do. I don't think I'll be using the PC anymore.

I love this printer but try to get it set up on a network and you're in for a torrid time. Why does it have to be so difficult. I am now at the point of throwing my hands in the air and buying an HP or something

The software compatibility is shocking though. I really, really enjoyed spending all night so far failing to install it. Why can't printer manufacturers just follow the Apple approach of 'out of the box' and it works. Reminds me far too much of the bad old days of installing PC hardware.
