I replaced my original apple keyboard with the new one for my Mac Pro since the original did not have a crisp enough key stroke...it seemed "mushy" sometimes...but now....amazing!

Very thin and lite weight. The new key design has a great feel and very large keys so you don't make many mistakes.

THE ONE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH IT IS the two usb ports will not support an ipod. I have the video Ipod and I get a warning that the USB power is too low to power the attached device. I bought this key board to clear away clutter on my desk and hopefully eliminate a few cords. Unfortunately its not true and I was disappointed. I am very much an apple fan but the low USB ports were a not as advertised on the website.

Took a little while to get the feel of it, but now it's second-nature. Once problem...Boot Camp. This little baby uses Function keys for audio up and down and brightness, and Vista really didn't like it. Sadly, I'm going to have to keep using my old keyboard until they update BootCamp to work with this new keyboard. That's why I'm only giving three stars. Otherwise, it'd be a full FIVE, baby!

I bought this keyboard back in October. I returned it in January because my Thunderbolt was no longer recognizing it. They claimed I bought this keyboard back in October. I returned it in January because my Thunderbolt was no longer recognizing it. They claimed it was the monitor but it wasn't it was the keyboard. Exchanged it and then had the same issue happen now in June. Thankfully I went in and they let me pay the difference for the wireless one (although it was $20 and is missing the 10 key..not too happy about that). I would recommend staying away from this keyboard as I had so many issues!

Only one lasted longer than six months. The These are great when they work, but are very delicate and break within a few months of moderate use. I use my mac to code and write documentation. I hate to say it, but if you do any amount of typing, you are better off going with a 3rd party keyboard.

When it did finally get wrecked in an accident, I boayght this " new and improved" aluminum case product. I am about to go to the Apple Store and buy my FIFTH of these since. They basically work for six months and then begin to go haywire. May do better in clean room environments but out in the real, humid, particulate world, they go down super fast.

Also they get grungy to the point of disgusting and (this is important) NEVER try to clean them. No matter how careful you are or how closely you follow their instructions, it will wreck the keyboard. I even saw a tech from a Genius Bar try to demonstrate how to clean one, and even he wrecked it.

Basically, just get used to budgeting $50 every six months for a replacement. I don't know any other answer.
