Will Cubik Speakers work connecting to a Sony TV using a USB Connection
I'm looking for speakers that I can use with my iMac & a TV. These speakers connect to the iMac via a USB Connection for Power & to provide sound. Could I hook them to a Sony TV that has a USB Connection?

Answer
Certainly the cubik will work perfectly with your iMac. TVs with USB connections normally use the USB port for audio input. i.e. to connect other devices that can play through the TVs audio / home theater system. Please see the Bravia manual or contact Sony support to see if this model supports USB output.

This is a matter of opinion. These are inherently different in characteristics and price. The unique properties of the cubik include a chip incorporating a DSP, Digital Audio Amplifier and USB sound card. There is no analog input. All sound is taken from USB in the digital domain and hence there is no noise introduced through digital analog conversion.
