At 4MB each, 1 GB of songs is around 250, so therefore 2 GB would be around 500 songs. However, this can vary, according to length and format of the song. If you have a very low quality song, it will take up much less space than an apple lossless song.

Is it worth buying a sensor for iPod Touch?
I have the most recent iPod and I've begun using Nike+ to track my runs. However, because my iPod doesn't have GPS, it relies on the accelerometer to track my distance and it is usually wrong. I was wondering if it was worth buying the sensor to make it more accurate or if I should just continue using the accelerometer and callibrating my distance (which I don't always know).

the 4th generation ipod touch is great, it has a chrome back and comes in black and white. the 4g is very slim and perfect for on the go. however the 5th generation is much more improved, it has a smooth backing, the colours are red pink blue yellow grey/white and black, the 5g is slimmer that the 4g , another fantastic thing is the app that the ipod 5th generation introduces is Siri. Siri is a handy app that you can ask for help and personally talk too, to open siri you hold the home button down and the app appears.

Best Answer
You need to connect your iPad to a computer that has iTunes installed on it. iTunes will then scan for the latest available software available for your iPad and prompt you to update it as needed. The latest available software for the 1st generation iPad is iOS 5.1.1.

How many songs does the 5th generation ipod touch hold for a 32GB and the 64GB???
- Asked by Vickie K from Alexandria
- 11-Oct-2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best Answer
This all depends on the type of compression used and the bitrate. Bitrates can be as low as 6 kbps (phone quality) to more than 1000 kbps (lossless cd quality). Typical is 192 kbps for MP3 and 128 kbps for AAC. A 32GB player will hold about 10,000 songs at 128k AAC, and a 64GB player will hold twice that, or 20000 songs, although this is assuming that the entire drive is used for music.

What is different on the iPad mini than on the iPod touch 5th gen?
- Asked by Alastair Q
- 24-Apr-2013
- Flag as inappropriate
Answer
First of all, some of the apps are different, either in availability or in functionality. For example, Money Magazine has an app for iPad that simply doesn't exist for iPodTouch or iPhone (I even contacted Money Mag directly and they confirmed this). Another example: Palm Beach Post (newspaper) has an app that just plain works differently on the iPad than it does on the iPhone/iPodTouch: the phone/pod functionality is much more limited than the iPad version.
Second, you can now get "data" on the iPad mini (initial release didn't have that available, but it's available now); iPodTouch is only Wi-Fi.

Answer
Yes you can, however you will need to sync your podcasts from iTunes on your computer since the nano does not run iOS. Therefore it does not permit streaming.

does the ipod touch 5g has radio?
how can i use the radio? thanks
- Asked by Irene B from Cali

Best Answer
The 5th generation iPod touch does not have an AM/FM tuner. Instead, you can download apps on your iPod touch that will allow you to stream radio programs on the Internet over WiFi. Another option is to purchase a 3rd party accessory that enable your iPod to receive AM/FM radio signals. However, such accessories are unpopular and are becoming harder to find among retailers. If you want an iPod with AM/FM radio capability, I recommend purchasing an iPod nano.

How many songs can you put on a 64gb Ipod Touch?
- Asked by Jennifer C from Castro Valley
- 06-Sep-2012

Best Answer
People often speculate about this Topic, but in reality: The average amount of songs that can be placed on 1 GB is 500 songs (aprox 3 - 7 min each).
Most iOS devices use about 0.5 - 2 GB of the actual flash on the device. So that means that you really have about 63 or 62 GB (subtract anything else you want to put on it too).
500 songs : 1 GB
31,500 songs : 63 GB
I will estimate that you can put around 31,250 - 31,500+ songs on you 64 GB iPod Touch.
It also depend on the the bit rate of your music.
Higher quality (bit rate) music tends to take up more space, which may affect the amount of songs you can have on your iPod. I have two versions of the same song: one copy is about 3 MB, and the other is 7 MB.
I hope that helps!- Answered by Ronald B from Brantford
