am living in Dubai and want to know are there any drawbacks in purchasing iphone 5 through online store? whether it can be used in india?..pls help me

i saw that cost for iphone 5 is much lesser compared to open store cost....but am confused whether it will put me in trouble if with warranty or functioning of the phone?if i want to claim warranty whom shoud i contact then etc etc...pls do help me guys..:(
