    Yes, just tested it, it works as a speaker (Macbook Air with Logitech Mini Boombox)

  • To my knowledge, just about any Bluetooth speaker will work with the Macbook Air. Simply connect to it as you would a wireless Mouse and select it as a sound output in System Preferences.
