With my Bose lifestyle I received a cable with IR receiver which enables the use of universal remotes such as those from Logitech... So the Griffen must work as well. Just find this cable with small IR detector plug it into the back and put the detector in view of the IR beacon...

No. Bose use RF to transmit remote codes. The beacon uses IR.
