Can I replace my Sky-provided wireless router with a Time Machine for my home wireless network without affecting Sky TV / Talk?
Can I replace my Netgear wireless router (provided by Sky) with a Time Machine, with the Timw Machine providing my home wireless network. Can I do that without affecting Sky TV and Sky Talk etc...?

Probably not. The sky router more than likely has a built in Modem. The modem is what changes a telephone line into a computer connection. The Time Capsule dose not have a modem built in.
I would suggest turning off the wireless feature of the Sky box and adding the time capsule to the network by a cable from the sky to the time capsule. That way you keep the features from sky.- Answered by Stewart L
