Limit User Access feature in Airport Extreme
If you use the Access Control feature and enter the MAC address of the computers that you want to limit access, how does it disable users at the designated time? Will it only work when the user logs off, sleeps or reboots? What will cause the rules to go into effect?

The clock is the heart of the Timed Access feature. Users and their devices are not disabled - network access for those users' devices terminates at the exact designated times.
If the admistrator is not in physical control of the base station and the administrative computer with AirPort Utility, it would be rather pointless.- Answered by Andrew H from Carmel
