My registration code doesn't seem to work. What should I do?
First: Ensure that your name is entered exactly as it appears on the Purchase Order confirmation e-mail message with proper capitalization.

Second: If you copy and paste the registration code from your Purchase Order confirmation email into the Number field, you may inadvertently introduce an extra character or space. If that happens, you'll receive a dialog that says that you entered a number that is not valid. Make sure that you've entered all your information exactly as specified in your email. Please note that QuickTime Pro registration codes consist of five groups of four characters, which are separated by dashes, and use zeros—not Os.

How do I know if I have installed QuickTime 7 Pro properly?
You can easily check for QuickTime Pro by looking at any QuickTime Player menu. If you see “Pro” next to any of the menu items you have not registered QuickTime Pro correctly. Another way to check whether QuickTime Pro is installed is to open QuickTime Preferences and see if your Registration Code and Name are filled in. If it says “QuickTime 7 Pro” in the bottom of the dialog box, then you have properly installed QuickTime Pro.

Some movies may be save-disabled by the owner of the content, which prevents anyone from saving them.

Why does QuickTime 7 Pro take a long time to convert movies from one format to another?
Conversion time will vary based on the speed of your computer, how much memory you have available, the size of the movie and complexity of the conversion, and how many other open programs you have.
