Shoppers are faculty, staff, or students who wish to make personal purchases with their own funds (not school funds) in an Apple Store and receive educational discounts. |
Proposers are faculty or staff who are shopping for their school, but are not authorized to spend school funds. Proposers use the Apple Store to create a proposal, which is like creating a requisition. Proposals are not orders. Creating and submitting a proposal does not encumber school funds. |
Buyers are also called Apple authorized purchasers in the Apple Store. Apple authorized purchasers receive the proposals submitted by proposers, modify or approve them, and place orders with Apple using school funds. Registration details can be found in Topic: Your Account, Set up your account, Sign in as a buyer. |
Administrators are faculty or staff at your school who are authorized to manage a custom Apple Store. Custom store administrators set up and maintain the custom store, and determine which products and configurations it will offer. |
